We Keep Students Safe at Spanish Oaks

Submitted by kali.brown on

Keeping students safe is a priority at Spanish Oaks Elementary.  A special "thank you" to our teachers, specialists, custodians, etc., who all take turns making sure our students find their way to and from school safely each day.  Mrs. Lindstrom (pictured) is out in front of our school every morning, rain or shine.  Give her a wave and a big smile next time you see her!  We appreciate each of you!

Project Teddy Bear at Spanish Oaks

It is our pleasure to participate in "Project Teddy Bear" again this year!   We will be collecting items beginning December 1, 2014 - December 12, 2014.  We will be collecting new or gently-used stuffed animals.  These stuffed animals will go to thousands of at-risk children in Utah.  Our goal for "Project Teddy Bear" this year is to collect at least 100 stuffed animals.

Buddy Reading at Spanish Oaks

Submitted by sherri.peterson on

Every week Mrs. Dimmick and Mrs. Olsen combine their 3rd grade class with Mrs. Olsen's Kindergarten class for Kindergarten buddy time. We read the Kindergarten books with them and do sight word practice to help the Kindergarten students learn their sight words.  We love our buddies!
