Run, fourth grade ... RUN!!

In just two years, Haley Lybbert has made an immeasurable impact here at Spanish Oaks.  Upon graduating from UVU, Haley, as an intern, taught 2nd grade at Foothills Elementary in Payson for one year.  The next year she was ours, helping minds flourish, shaping futures and capturing the hearts of our 1st graders.  It isn't just students, though … Haley is adored by fellow faculty and staff.  She has left an impression on so many of us, whether it is the way she is always smiling, lending a helping a hand or just being a friend to anyone that needs it.

Our Track Meet participants will be extra hydrated this year thanks to the generous donation and support from Warren Orthodontics!  There is also a ticket inside the water bottle ... If you take it to their office to get scanned, you may win free braces.  They are giving away 9 free braces throughout all the track meets!  Thank you for our brand new water bottles (provided for every student, grades 3rd-4th) ... We appreciate you! 

PTA Carnival:  Friday, May 15, 2015 from 5:00pm-7:00pm

After a unit on eggs, the Kindergarten students enjoyed creating a "home" for an egg that would protect their egg when dropped off the school roof.  Mr. Billie did the honors, and the students had a great time checking to see if their egg broke or not.  Fun times!

Spanish Oaks Elementary's second annual "Fun Run" Fund Raiser is 2 weeks away!  A $15.00 donation purchases entry into the race (1 mile/5K), along with an awesome t-shirt.  T-shirts are included in the registration price until 5/09/15.  Come run, walk, bike or scoot with us!!

What a great bunch of bucket fillers ... Thank you, students, for filling our buckets!
