Clive Romney treated us to some great information presented in song today as we watched the Pioneer Heritage assembly.  The students were engaged and enjoyed the time spent learning about Utah history.  We even had a band created with hoes and shovels.  Thanks Mr. Romney for sharing your talents with us!

Community Helper Day In First Grade at Spanish Oaks

Submitted by sherri.peterson on

Students came to school dressed up as what they want to be when they grow up. They were educated about different careers in their community. In the morning we had the opportunity to hear from the Credit Union, a veterinarian, and a 911 dispatcher.  After recess, students watched presentations from an electrician, police officer, and PCT (Patient Career Tech).  Our last presenters were a singer, our very own principal, and Mrs. Phelps who talked about being a mom and grandma.
