Step into Summer Robotics EXTRA
We are so excited to offer a final Step into Summer Robotics EXTRA this year at Spanish Oaks! Mrs. Aagard will be teaching this class for students in 3rd and 4th grade(s). The class will focus on different robotics topics, i.e., programming, constructing, designing, etc.
The dates and times are as follows:
Chalk Math in Second Grade
We had a lesson on the difference between problems like 3x4 and 4x3 since we have been working on our multiplication unit and they got bored of arrays :) They picked a problem, drew both arrays, switched the numbers and wrote a story problem that represented one of the mult problems. The students had a ball!

Spanish Oaks Students Serenaded as They Arrived at School
We were treated to a bit of serenading this morning before school. Our orchestra lined the halls, welcoming the students to a great day at Spanish Oaks. Thanks so much, students!
6th Grade Orchestra Closing Concert
"Your kids were FANTASTIC! I thought that they did a marvelous job. Even Principal Brown commented that this is the best performance by this group that she's heard yet. That's quite a compliment, as we've had several strong groups already. I hope that you fully enjoyed their efforts on Monday evening. Thank you for turning out to watch them demonstrate what they've been learning all year," said Mr. Russell Hansen. "Each student has contributed to many different facets of the course.
