The third graders chose a favorite book to share with the studentbody and parents yesterday at Spanish Oaks. Each presentation was unique and well done. The students also shared a summary of their book so others could get excited about reading it for themselves.
We are excited to join in with our city library to earn rewards for summer reading! They have a great program set up this year, with lots of fun prizes and activities. We look forward to a summer full of fun reading!
Fifth grade had a great day at the track meet! Beautiful weather, great races and loads of fun!

Our fourth grade students have been working so hard to put together their presentations for their annual wax museum. Dressed as their chosen character, they presented information about what makes their person famous. Thanks, students, for a job well done!

It was a perfect day for the Zoo! The kids had a blast riding the bus, seeing the animals, eating lunch together and falling asleep on the way home! Thank you to all our parents who came and helped.
The Spanish Oaks student body enjoyed a short performance by our school orchestra, led by Russell Hansen. The students enjoyed the songs, especially singing along to BINGO. Thanks to Mr. Hansen and Mrs. Dallon for playing the piano.
A HUGE congratulations to Naomi Good, Jeven Tomlinson, Jaeden Wilkerson, Bailey Maughan, Gavin Grotegut, Lucy Kilpatrick, Quinn Burtenshaw and Savannah Willis for being our Golden Explorers winners for the year. They have worked hard all year in a variety of areas to be eligible for this award. Keep up the great work!
