Kindergarten students participated in our annual Kindy 500 today! We sang some patriotic songs for our parents, then got into our Kindy cars and paraded around the school. Each and every vehicle was so amazing. Next students drove their cars to 6 different learning stations where they learned interesting facts and information about some of our national symbols.
Students and their families had a great time at our DINO-MITE reading event! Thanks to Aubrey Smith and our book fair volunteers for a successful night! Last day for our awesome PTA BOGO Book Fair is ... Friday!

We were so lucky to have the Tunes N' Tales Trio come today! One musician played the harp, one played the violin and viola, and the last played the flute. They played familiar Disney songs and told stories with their music! What an awesome way to learn through music and song!
The Utah Shakespeare Festival is once again hitting the road with its Shakespeare-in-the-Schools touring production – this year performing one of the world’s first psychological thrillers, William Shakespeare’s Macbeth.
An evening performance for everyone is this Tuesday, April 16, at 7:30 at Springville High School, 1205 East 900 South, Springville, UT. Another performance will be held on Monday, April 15, at 3:30 p.m. at Spanish Fork High, 300 West 99 North, Spanish Fork. And, admission is free.
Today Spanish Oaks had their first ever Book Spotlight Cafe! We have mystery guests lined up for the next month and today’s guests came from Maple Mountain High School! Student body officers came to talk about their favorite books. These books will be available in the Spanish Oaks library for students to check out. We also had refreshments after. Have your children come next Thursday morning at 8:20am to find out who our next mystery guests will be! Thanks To Maple Mountain High School students for coming and making our first Book Spotlight Cafe amazing!

Our 4th graders have completed their Keyboarding Connection class. They all did an awesome job! The following students have been selected to represent our school at the Nebo School District Keyboarding Championship. Tanner Christiansen, Benjamin Bigler, Heather Laing, Jodie Tiapson, Sebastian Tinoco and Isabella Bowers. Being selected to compete means that these students are among the top 10% of keyboarders in Nebo. We are so proud of them! Congratulations!
