Teacher Spotlight Mrs. Young

Submitted by sherri.peterson on

Mrs. Young is a speech teacher here at Spanish Oaks.  Her favorite part about teaching is working with the kids, she wants to help them get excited to reach their goals.  She has been teaching for three years.  She has a master’s degree in Speech\Language Pathology.  In her spare time, she loves to read and be outside with her family.  Her dream vacation is going to Hawaii, and relaxing on a warm beach.  If Mrs. Young wasn’t a speech teacher, she would want to be a dancer because it is fun, and she loved the experience as a kid.

What's Your Opinion?

Submitted by sherri.peterson on

Mrs. Stewart’s class has been learning about opinion writing. They read an informational book and then they were able to work in groups and come up with reasons why it would be great to have animal eyes, ears, hair, teeth, tails and noses. They came up with some really wonderful reasons of how they could do amazing things.
