Crossing Guard Wishes Students Merry Christmas
Our 3rd graders were so excited to welcome Miss Giles from Utah’s Opera by Children. She is an artist who taught the students some art terms as well as how to watercolor with markers. The students had a great time!
Every year we enjoy a Sing Around the Tree as part of our Christmas celebration. This year, we had to adjust that a little bit, and we did a Sing-a-Long through Zoom. Even our teachers joined in with some special singing helpers. At the end of the singing, a special visitor arrived that wanted to join our Zoom meeting. The students were so excited as they heard those jingle bells enter the school. Santa made a visit to each classroom, visiting with the students, and delivering a treat. It turned out to be a great time for all!
Santa, The Grinch, Who's from Whoville, Ugly Sweaters, Staff song, Custodian contemplating Christmas, Christmas socks, etc. Spanish Oaks has had a full week of fun (as well as learning) this week. Take a look at some of the fun!
We are so excited about our Excellent Explorer Award Winners this term. They are a great bunch of students that we appreciate so much! Thanks for showing GRIT each day and being such good friends to your classmates! Let’s give a shout out to:

We would like to welcome Makenzie Brady to Spanish Oaks. She loves to connect with each of her students and have fun every day. The second graders are lucky to have such a great teacher. As a kid her dream was to be a teacher, an astronomer, or an interior designer. If you're in second grade and love cats then this teacher is for you, she has three of them! Congratulations to a great bunch of students. Mr. Murray is filling up his hat with names!
