Wednesday, March 12, Diamond Fork Junior High School came to share their talents with the 6th grade students of Spanish Oaks Elementary.  In trying to promote the arts program, Diamond Fork Jr. High had a short performance for the students who will be joining them next year at the junior high.  Demonstrations were provided for the different types of instruments, using some popular music from movies and radio.  The performance was capped off with a percussion extravaganza!  Five percussionists, using 7 trash cans, put on a fun final number of rhythm.  What a great way for the 6th graders to see some of the things they can do if they join the band next year when they leave grade school!
