We are so excited to share with you our first 2020-2021 Excellent Explorers for our first term of school.  They are an amazing group of students, who have consistently shown gratitude, resilience, initiative and tenacity.  They were cheered for by the student body, got to eat with Mr. Murray on a “special” table, and are now in our newsletter.  Congratulations to each of you on a job well done.  Here are our award winners:

Chloe Davis- 6th Grade   Chloe is an exceptional student. She shines both academically and socially. Chloe always does her best and works hard to get good grades on all of her assignments. She is constantly on task and loves to participate and share her ideas. She also takes the time to help those around her. Chloe can often be found teaching one of her peers and answering questions for students in her table group.  Chloe seems to have a permanent smile on her face. She just glows! Her fellow students love to be around her because of how kind, thoughtful and funny she is. Chloe is reliable. Her classmates know they can count on her to be a good friend and to work hard.  Even when faced with huge challenges, Chloe chooses to have a positive attitude. She does not give up when life gets hard. I am so proud of Chloe for her determination to be the best that she possibly can at all times. - Mrs. McClain
