We have the sweetest group of Excellent Explorers this term!  They all work every day to be kind and to be a role model for the other students.  We appreciate them so much!  Congratulations on a job well done!

Our Excellent Explorers are:

Ellie Taylor, 4th Grade-Ellie has always been a powerful example of what an Excellent Explorer should be. I had the opportunity to be her teacher last year and to watch her this year. She goes out of her way to be kind to other students. There is a student who left the school and came back and I have watched Ellie reach out to support her friend and to help her feel like she is at home. She is a hard worker and is determined to always to her best. I also appreciate how respectful she is to everyone, not just the teachers or her friends. I am blessed to have been her teacher and to watch her share her kindness with the world. - Mrs. Dimmick.

Jocelyn Gomm, 5th grade-She is always working hard, showing respect and being kind. She is someone I look up to, she is amazing! -Norah Williams.

Nathan Kendall, sixth grade- Nathan is a friend to everyone. He can get along with anyone in the whole grade and is such a great influence on others. He works hard in the classroom and is always looking for ways to serve and be helpful throughout the day. He is a great example to other classmates and does his best to make others happy. He goes above and beyond each and every day.

Kate Roberts, 6h grade-Kate is happy and kind to everyone ALL OF THE TIME. She draws people in because she is so much fun to be around and very welcoming. If someone needs to be cheered up or needs a friend, Kate is the person for the job. She makes our classroom a better place and we enjoy her so much! -Mrs. Dyches and Mrs. Taylor.

Lincoln Beenfield, 6th grade-Lincoln is such a great student all around. He is helpful to kids around him. He notices when someone needs help and doesn't hesitate to go out of his way to help them. He is mature and a good friend and knows how to separate himself from problems going on around him. Lincoln is very respectful through both action and words. He is always one of the first ones in his seat or lined up at the door, you never have to ask him twice. He pays attention great and participates in class. He never calls out or interrupts those sharing. Lastly he is such a happy kid. He is fun to be around and makes you feel happy. He is someone that you know you can count on. He is a great asset to any class or group of friends-Mrs. Dyches and Taylor.

Kaleb Dorrough,1st grade-Kaleb is one of the most polite first graders I have ever had. He is always saying "please" and "thank you." He is so grateful for everything and anything. I can give him one single Skittle and he would think it was the most amazing thing. He is also so nice to other people even when they aren't nice to him. There was a time when we were out at recess and another student was taking away Kaleb's shoes, so I had to intervene and take care of the situation. Kaleb was so forgiving and didn't hold it against the student. He just shook it off and didn't let it bother him. I think that is such an honorable quality to have. He works super hard in class. He takes constructive criticism very well and is always wanting to improve. He is always on task and completes his work on time-Mrs. Liddle.
