Dear Parents of Spanish Oaks,
I just want to share three important reminders that were shared with me in the wake of the online, home-learning school.
1. You Matter
2. You are Loved
3. Everything will be Okay
You Matter--As you work with your kids at home with online learning please remember to take care of yourself and your kids with breaks when things seem to be going awry. All you can do is your best (no matter what that looks like) and that is enough. You matter and your best will look different than someone else's best, but I promise, your best is enough.
You are Loved--We are all cheering for you!!! We've got your back!
Everything will be Okay--Keep in contact with your children's teachers the best you can. Their feedback will help you help your children. We've got this! This is challenging for all of us and together we will make this work. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! We love your kids and we love you!!!

Some wise counsel from one of my dear friends: "In times of uncertainty, it is important to focus on what we know rather than what we don’t know. Focusing on what we know allows us to plan and to be proactive. Focusing on what we don’t know brings fear and uncertainty."
