Mrs. Susan Phelps teaches first grade at Spanish Oaks. This is her second year teaching at our school. She and her husband live in Spanish Fork, and they have three sons and two daughters. Susan is from Taylorsville, Utah and has attended college at Southern Utah University and Brigham Young University. Her favorite foods are seafood and pasta. Her favorite vacation destination was to Seattle and Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. Her favorite author is Robert Munsch, and she loves to read his books aloud to her students! She loves to be in the mountains with her family whenever she gets a chance and enjoys playing tennis and running. She expressed how much she loves to see students learn and understand what she is teaching and loves the fun personalities of the students at Spanish Oaks. Her favorite quote is, “It is good to have an end to journey toward, but it is the journey that matters in the end.” Spanish Oaks is lucky to have such a wonderful person and teacher on our staff!
