Jasmine Martin, second grade teacher, has been chosen as our school's Teacher of the Year.  She joined us 4 years ago as an intern in fourth grade.  She is married and expecting her first baby.  She has a pleasant and calming personality that is great to be around.

Principal Kali Brown says of her, "I admire Jasmine's many valuable qualities and regard her with ever increasing respect.  Very goal oriented, as well as a team player, she is keenly devoted to her work.  She takes seriously her role in meeting the needs of each of her students."  A parent of one of her past students states, "My son specifically remembers how she made everyone feel happy!  The ability to be able to see the good in each student and create a learning environment where students want to learn because of the way you make them feel is a true gift."  And a parent of a current student, "As I think about my experiences with her I can't help but be impressed by her quiet goodness.  She makes her classroom a place where students want to be."

Mrs. Martin is a true asset to our faculty here at Spanish Oaks.  We are lucky to have her and proud to call her one of our "family".  Thanks, Jasmine!!
