"For my Eagle Scout project, I collected the hand-held white boards that are used in the classrooms from teachers who wanted theirs to be included.  We washed the fronts and backs of the boards and then painted the backs to cover up the graffiti that students had written over the years.  Then we painted a compass rose on the back to represent the Explorers.  The boards look completely different and much nicer.  When things look nice, people tend to take care of them.  I hope the newly painted backs will help the teachers teach with fewer distractions."  Thank you, Joshua Anderson, for this amazing service to our school ... we are so excited to use our brand new white boards!
