Rodeo Reading Winners at Spanish Oaks

We had some excited students yesterday as they were presented with a pair of rodeo tickets for this summer for being awesome readers during the past month.  Our winners were:  Lilly Mendez, Kallen Brough, Halle Oakey, Kayson Dimmick, Jessica Bishop, Paige Johnson and Kambree Lewis.  These students read a total of 2,791 minutes during the month of April.  That is the same as 63 hours or 2.5 days.  Pretty impressive!  Our school-wide reading minutes for April totaled 213,286 minutes!  That is even more impressive!  Kallen Brough and Jessica Bis

Spanish Fork Youth Arts Festival

The Spanish Fork Youth Arts Festival will be June 4-15th at the Spanish Fork high school! registration begins May 9th at midnight (May 8th). With classes for everyone ages 18 months to 18 years. We have something for EVERYONE!! National Secretaries Week at Spanish Oaks

Administrative Professionals Week - "National Secretaries Week" ...  Each grade-level signed up to take a day to SPOIL our amazing Office Staff, e.g., DeAnn Carter, Stacey Johnson, Sherri Peterson, Tonia Ivie, Shiloh Slaymaker, and Lenay Porter!!  These outstanding professionals were treated to flowers, love notes, "love you berry much" berries, chocolates, songs, gift baskets, etc.  The week came to a grand finale‘ with the below tribute choreographed by our 6th grade students ...  We love you, ladies!

Third Grade Book Share at SpanishOaks

Our third grade students have been busy reading this school year!  They each decided on one of their favorite books and put together a poster and a summary to share with our student body and their families.  They each put a lot of thought and effort into their presentations, and we are so proud of them!  

3rd Grade Track Meet

Our third graders were working hard this week while they competed at the Spanish Fork Track Meet.  Students chose to participate in the 400 m, 200 m, 100 m,  or 50 m races as well as the softball throw or long jump.
