Spring Choir Assembly
The school choir blew us away with a blast from the past. They performed many famous musical numbers from The Sound of Music to Wicked. Some of the girls in choir even choreographed a dance and performed it for the school! Thank you, Mrs. Aagard and Mrs. Christensen for an amazing year!

Summer Coding Class
This summer, Jr. High school students are invited to attend a fun 2-day workshop learning to code using Code.org’s App Lab and BBC’s microbit. Students will use App Lab to create apps that can be published and shared to run on any computer, tablet, or smartphone with a modern browser.
The BBC's microbit is a small hardware processing device (about 1/2 the size of a credit card). Projects will include: LED message display, thermometer, compass, connection to external LEDs, composing music, etc.
Treasures of the Week at Spanish Oaks
Great things continue to happen at Spanish Oaks. Here are our "treasures" of the week.
Monsters
The kids did a fantastic job at their concert! We are very proud of how they conducted themselves. It appeared they had a grand time, as that was all they could talk about in class on Friday. Thank you to all the parents for coming out and supporting your kids. They really enjoyed playing for you.

We are so excited to announce that this year the PTA will be awarding each student at Spanish Oaks ... 1 wristband for unlimited play on the inflatables and rock wall ... IF the school is able to reach the reading goal this year! Keep reading Spanish Oaks ... we excited to celebrate a GREAT year of reading!!
