Fifth Grade Program Entertains Spanish Oaks Studentbody

Submitted by sherri.peterson on

The fifth graders have been busy this year learning all about American History.  Using trivia questions, songs and pictures of their learning activities during the year, the students entertained us in a culminating program to share their newly-learned expertise.  It was definitely a job well done!  Thank you, students and teachers!

Spanish Oaks Has Some Really Spoiled Secretaries

Submitted by sherri.peterson on

"Roses are red, butterflies are blue.  Our office staff is amazing and we all love you!"  The students at Spanish Oaks Elementary School have really gone all out this week in telling our secretaries (and facilitator) thanks for all they do.  Gifts, poetry, art projects, student books, treats, etc., have been delivered by the students to the office staff.  We want to tell Mrs. Carter and Mrs. Johnson how much we appreciate all they do behind the scenes to make our school a great place to be!

Spanish Oaks Switches It Up

Submitted by sherri.peterson on

Teachers dressed like students?  Students dressed like teachers?  Why not!  Spanish Oaks looked a little mixed-up today as the faculty dressed like the students, and visa versa.  Ryan Carter, fifth grade, did his best to look like Mrs. Carter, our secretary.  Our librarian had her daughter dress her.  Perfect!  Check out our 6th grade girls being Mrs. Anderson!  What a fun day ... thanks for participating!
