Ghosts and goblins, witches and ghouls, Halloween was spooky here at our school! A great time was had by all. Thanks to mothers for helping with parties, and our 6th grade for their special treat after the parade, and to our student council for their help with Ghostie Grams!
The more students read, the more reading tickets they receive and the higher their chances of getting drawn to have the reading celebration with Mrs. Brown! These students got to paint pumpkins for their celebration. So fun!
Ballet West visited our school today. They taught the whole school about ballet: different terms, positions, and ballet moves. Students even got to come and try the different dance moves. At the end, we got to see the performers in their beautiful costumes as they performed a little bit for us.
This is my sixth year teaching. I graduated from Utah Valley University with Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. I received my teaching license in Early Childhood Special Education from Utah State University. I truly have a passion for helping children progress at their level and helping them find the joy of learning and being at school. My husband, Cameron and I have been married for 5 and 1⁄2 years. Together we have two adorable little boys, Charles (4), and Henry (3).
