We are excited to offer Science EXTRA this year at Spanish Oaks for the younger grades! Miss McKendrick will be teaching this class for students in grade(s) 1-3. The class will focus on the Scientific Method, where we will make hypotheses and perform tests and experiments to find answers. Some of the experiments we will do will include: reactions with Alka-Seltzer, baking soda, lemon juice, etc.
The dates and times for our class will be Wednesday and Thursday afternoon(s) from 3:15 p.m.- 4:00 p.m., starting 1/17/17 and running through 2/02/17 (six sessions). Classes will be held in Room 21. Students must be picked up promptly at 4:00 p.m.
This class will be able to accommodate 15 students. We will take students on a first come, first served basis. If your student would like to participate, please fill out the form below and return it to the office by Friday, January 13, 2017 to register. The first 15 students for the class to hand in their forms will be selected as participants.
