We are excited to be enjoying some fun activities, songs and service during Kindness Week this week.  On Monday, Mr. Murray introduced the week, and we were off and running!   Each teacher is paying close attention to students that they seeing being kind, and we are passing out "Caught Ya' Being Kind" slips, which are read over the announcements each morning, then put on our front wall.  We sang "I'll Be Nice", and shared the following quotes turned in from 2 of our students.  The quotes were:  "Sometimes it takes only one act of kindness and caring to change a person's life", and "Kindness is doing what you can, where you are, with what you have."  Thanks, students for sharing those thoughts with us.  We will read 2 each morning, and the rest are posted in the hall.  The challenge for the day was to say "Good morning" to 15 students.  Check with your child to see how that went :)  The activity of the day was to show their teacher kindness in some way.  Here are a few acts of kindness shown the teachers:   Kinsley Stumpe helped wipe down my desk and tables with sanitizing wipes without being asked.   Miss McKendrick.  Adam Beenfield helped another student with their math.   Mrs. Taylor

Stay tuned for our upcoming days reports . . .
