Like you, we are just learning that Governor Gary R. Herbert, State Superintendent Syd Dickson, and the Utah State Board of Education “announced today that Utah’s K-12 public schools will extend their dismissal [soft closure] through Friday, May 1st.” Their press release further stated that they will “continue to evaluate the situation to make a determination about the remaining school year” and that:

In this ever-changing environment, Nebo School District is working hard to meet the needs of the children in our communities. Nebo School District’s Child Nutrition Department has received a fee waiver from the State Board of Education through the USDA. Therefore:
FREE NUTRITION PROGRAM for AGES 0 to 18
UPDATED “Grab & Go” Breakfast and/or Lunch
Curbside “Grab and Go” breakfast and/or lunch WILL BEGIN ON THURSDAY. Students will be charged for the meal(s) just as they would on a regular day. Those on free or reduced lunch will continue to receive that service as normal. Students will pick up their meal(s) at school and take them back home to eat. The school lunchroom will NOT be open.
