Rock Students of the Week
Here are our amazing students who were chosen to be our "Rock" students for the week. They got to add a rock to our collection here, as well as take one home to remember that they "Rock"!

Our third graders have been working on visual arts with our district arts specialist Mrs. Brown. We discussed folktales and then created our own picture of Mount Timpanogos. We then created our own printing template. Today we were able to create prints from our printing templates. It was so much fun!

We are so excited to share with you the students that were chosen by their teachers to be our "Rock" students for this week. This year they get to take a rock home that reminds them that "they rock". Then they also get to put a rock with their name on it into our Spanish Oaks Rocks container. Way to go students!
Second graders had a blast on their Water Day last Friday.
I am excited to be teaching art this year. I enjoy being creative. I married my best friend and have four kids. I love to work on crafts in my free time. I also enjoy camping, reading, and putting things together that come with instructions.
My name is Madison Weeter, and I graduated from Brigham Young University this past April in Elementary Education with a minor in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). I had the opportunity to do my student teaching here at Spanish Oaks and am so excited to start my first year of teaching here as well! I was born and raised in Tennessee, where my parents still live, and moved out to Utah to pursue an education. I chose to become a teacher after watching my mother teach at both the elementary and middle school level.
I was born and raised in St. George. I have loved growing up there. I moved to Cedar City for college and graduated from Southern Utah University in April. I love to travel and be outdoors as much as possible. I have loved teaching and I am so excited for this year.
I was born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina. I came to Utah for school and attended BYU. Growing up, I played soccer and danced and I still love both. When I have free time, I love reading, hiking, and spending time at the beach. I am so excited to be at Spanish Oaks this year!
