Our fourth graders play hard both in school ... and out of school. These future NBA stars are friends both on and off the court, setting an example of good sportsmanship and 'bucket-filling' for all the students at Spanish Oaks. Keep up the good work, boys!
What a great bunch of bucket fillers for this past week! Thanks to each of these students for their great example!
The PRCA Champions Challenge Rodeo is coming to the Spanish Fork Fairgrounds Arena Saturday, May 30, 2015. This rodeo will feature the world’s All-star Cowboys who will be in town for one night to compete on some of the world’s best animals for the winning prize.
Do you have a child going into kindergarten in the fall? It is almost time to register new students, and you will need to have a copy of their birth certificate and have their vaccinations up-to-date. There are new immunization requirements for kindergarten and seventh grade, and the Utah County Health Department (UCHD) can help!

Parents, students and teachers alike enjoyed a wonderful evening at our annual PTA Family Arts Night. Mr. Crockett led the students in dance ... Mrs. Burtenshaw coordinated a wonderful Readers' Theater ... Mrs. Christensen kept the school rocking with karaoke ... Mrs. Aagard created a display of students' work from our Arts EXTRA Saturday ... Mrs. Bard organized a huge variety of crafts, i.e., paper plate masks, 3-D marshmallow art, duct tape designs, etc. Thank you, PTA, for putting together an amazing night of learning and fun!
Our Kindergarten, first grade and second grades celebrated 100 days of school today. The second graders aged over night and came today dressed as a 100 year old. They were moving kind of slow! Our first graders' shirts were a little weighed down as they were each sporting 100 items hooked to their shirts. We had everything from balloons to bandaids. Happy 100's Day!
Here are our awesome bucket fillers for the week of January 26-30. Thank you, students, for thinking of those around you here at school.
Mrs. Moxen and Mr. Johnson got to try out their new-found skills of getting along with everyone (and everything) at a conference on teaching students social skills and how to be resilient. After all ... even llamas need friends!
