Thanks to all the students who participated this year in our Reflections program! We had creative entries that showed a lot of time and effort put into them. Congratulations as well to our winners, and best of luck to those moving on to the next level of competition. Congratulations to our bucket fillers for the week of November 3-7! They are great bunch of students who have helped to make our school a great place to be!
Our annual Food Drive will run from Tuesday, November 4, 2014 - Friday, November 14, 2014. Last year through your wonderful support, Spanish Oaks families helped us collect over 2,400 items, more than doubling our school goal. This year our goal is to TOP last year!!

Two of Spanish Oaks Elementary's very own students made the news this month ...
"Spanish Fork girl uses own money to raise money for homeless kids ..." Cheyanne Prather reached her goal of raising over $500 dollars by selling candy and treats to raise money to buy clothes for homeless children.
"Blechen builds an undying bond with young fan ..." Peyton Bard got to spend time with one of his football heroes, Brian Blechen.

Second Grade Field Trip News Report
Families, teachers and students all enjoyed the amazing presentation of Invasion from Mars as students impressed the audience with their fluency and expressive reading. Ghosts, pirates, ninjas, princesses, etc., all took center stage for Mrs. Rosenvall's 4th Grade Readers' Theater. Very realistic, 4th grade!
