My name is Kim Mellor and I teach Kindergarten!  Growing up I always wanted to be a teacher.  I spent hours playing school and teaching anyone that would play along with me.  Now I am living my dream!!  I love working with young children and I have been teaching Kindergarten for 25 years.  Each and every year is a new adventure and I love watching each child learn, grow and discover new things each day.  The excitement on their faces as they master a skill or learn something new warms my heart.  I enjoy helping them learn to read and write and hopefu

We are studying the different continents and popped into Peru to learn how to make Peruvian friendship bracelets!

We are excited to continue our Take Home Library book exchange during the summer to provide our Kindergarten - 3rd Grade students the opportunity to exchange their take-home library books, giving them access to leveled books throughout the summer months to continue their reading progress. 

We are finishing up our year with 6 fabulous students chosen as our Excellent Explorers.  Any student can be nominated by teachers, staff and/or students here at the school, then those that have been nominated are given anonymously to our student council who vote on the  top 6.  A big shout out to the following students for term 4:
