The school loved celebrating Dr.Seuss’s birthday on March 1st by showing off with their crazy “who” hair! Here are some of the hairstyles from different classes. Happy Birthday Dr.Seuss!

Dr. Seuss Day was a hit in Mrs. Liddle’s 1st grade class! We read lots of Dr. Seuss books, ate green eggs and ham, graphed rainbow fish, and completed a Lorax Glyph!
Dr. Seuss would be proud of the great hair designs found at our school today. He would also love that the children are being read his books by Mrs. Brown. What a great day!
The 6th Grade had a fun field trip to Diamond Fork Junior High. Jr. High students helped our 6th Graders to feel welcomed and got them excited to sign up for fun classes and clubs next year.
Students in Second Grade started learning about time this term! To practice learning about time, students practiced reading an analog clock. Every few minutes, a movement break popped up on the screen and students were able to take a break and get their heart rate up! They had a blast combining both math and movement into the lesson!

Our school collected a total of 6,495 Box Tops! Congrats to Miss Young’s 2nd grade class for being our Box Top winners with a total of 942 Box Tops Way to go Spanish Oaks!
Mrs. Liddle’s first grade class was the January Go Getter winners! They got to celebrate by playing games with Mrs. Brown!
