Astrofest is a free event at the BYU Erying Science Center that runs from 10 am to 4 pm this Saturday May 18, 2019.  We have lots of great astronomy themed activities, including free planetarium shows, physics
and acoustics demo shows, rocket building and launching, planispheres, art projects, Virtual Reality room, and this year we are focusing on the 50th Anniversary of the Apollo Moon Landings with special moon related activities and Dr. Michael Joner speaking at 11 am and 1 pm about the Apollo missions and the space race.  We also have several ancient and rare astronomy texts on display and original images from the Surveyor mission to the Moon.
