Spanish Oaks finished up a great year with our closing assembly yesterday. It was a lot of fun, and we had a number of students presented with different awards ...
Our Kiwanis TERRIFIC Kids, presented by Clyde Nielsen, were: Trey Leber, Eli Asay, Jaylee Stumpe, Brock Arndt, Jordan Smith, and Chloe Massimini.
The 5th Grade Golden Explorer Award was presented to: Baylor Ward, Kyla Donegan, Taiya Jacobson, Forrest Maughan, Kael Anderson, Henry Massimini, Seraphine Allison, Emily Jex, Maverick Dustin, Bryce Garner, Kylyn Lockwood, Makayla Smith, Sadie Burtenshaw, and Kelsey Kilpatrick.
Our final reading bike of the year was presented to: Brandon Bodmer!
The following students were given 2 rodeo tickets for our April Rodeo Reading Challenge, presented by Seth Perrins from Spanish Fork City Fiesta Days: Jack Buhler, Hunter Marshall, Sarah Clark, Lilly Newman, Noah O'Gwin, Grace Wood, and Whitley Devenish. Noah and Sarah were also the winners of the boots, hat and jeans. Congratulations to all of these students!
A special thank you to Mrs. San Diego, our awesome orchestra teacher, for helping our 6th Grade Orchestra students to serenade us as we came into the assembly.
We finished off the event with a Masked Singer competition with some of our faculty and staff. A shout out to Mrs. Robinson for organizing that. It was a great time for all!
