Halloween Parade 2021
Thank you for celebrating Halloween at Spanish Oaks. We had a great day!
Thank you for celebrating Halloween at Spanish Oaks. We had a great day!
Our faculty and staff had a great time today dressing for the day! They all looked awesome, and we had a great day enjoying Halloween learning activities, the parade, and class parties with the students.
Our 3rd graders have been working hard to get their wands. This is our first group of the 2021-2022 school year.
When a student passes off their fast facts, (1-10) they earn a wand made by Mrs. Dimmick.
We can’t wait to give out more wands!
We all had such a fun time yesterday at our annual Jog-a-Thon fund raiser! The students were great sports and super runners, and we appreciate the support from parents and teachers. We want to thank some local businesses who donated water, go-gurts and fruit snacks for the occasion. We also appreciate Mr. Phelps being our MC and keeping us running . . . literally!
Just a reminder to please turn in the money you earned if you haven't done so.
Our PTA will be holding a book fair next week
Mrs. Phelps wrote a grant for a chrome book cart, and received the money today from the Nebo Foundation. It will allow the 1st grade to have carts in their classrooms to store and charge their chrome books. We are so excited for her and her students.
Pop, Pop, popping balloons for our ABC celebration in Kindergarten. Students popped 26 balloons to find a letter card hidden inside. When all the balloons were popped they put the letters in alphabetical order to practice recognizing and reciting the alphabet.
Football players from Maple Mountain High School took time out to read to the students at Spanish Oaks Elementary. They encouraged the students to always work hard and to be the very best they can be. We would like to thank Coach Burtenshaw and the Golden Eagle players for their visit.
