The 2019 Elementary State Chess Championship will be held at Freedom Prep Academy in Provo this year. Register here or at utahchess.com. On March 16, 2019, young chess players from all over the state of Utah will join together to challenge each other. Several hundred players are expected, representing schools across the state. Many will bring back individual and school trophies, after playing six games with others in their own grade. Registration is open to all K-6 students--no qualifying meet is required. Come join the fun!
