Keyboarding Competition

Alli Christiansen in 5th grade and her brother Tanner in 4th grade were in the top 15 for each grade. Their mother Ashley said, “I wanted to let you know what an incredible teacher Mrs. Tuttle is in keyboarding. My kids have absolutely loved having her as a teacher for keyboarding. I have never seen Tanner to excited about a subject at school."

Last night, Allison ended up 5th in the keyboarding competition for 5th grade out of the 30 schools in the district and she had the fastest time of the night with 102 words per minute on the second round of competition. Tanner ended up in 2nd place our of the 30 schools in the district.  "I have appreciated Mrs. Tuttle and way she communicates with parents and the way that she has high expectations for the students and that she helps students learn this valuable tool. It was truly a great night to see so many kids excited about keyboarding. I was also impressed with Mrs. Olsen who stayed until the end of the competition last night even though she had the big 5th grade program today.  She has had a busy week and she is truly a wonderful teacher. We truly are blessed with great teachers.”  Way to go Christiansens!
