"For 50 years, National PTA’s Reflections program has helped students explore their own thoughts, feelings and ideas, develop artistic literacy, increase confidence and find a love for learning that will help them become more successful in school and in life. Our students at Spanish Oaks took time this week to show their appreciation for the brave men and women who are fighting the Pole Creek and Bald Mountain Fires. Thank you, Adalee Campbell (5th grade), for spear-heading this wonderful service activity ... You are a "Go Getter" at Spanish Oaks!
Where You Look, Is Where You Go ... Aim High! Just like when you are riding a bike … where you look, that’s where you’ll go. If you are riding down the road and you focus on the tree, you will run into the tree! Instead focus on the place you want the bike to go to have a nice bike ride. Where you look, that’s where you go; where you focus your attention is where you will end up! Great job, students ... setting goals and going after them! At Spanish Oaks we choose every day to: Be Kind, Show Respect, Work Hard ...
Math and movement! 6th grade did a scavenger hunt to review math! It was a fun way to get out some energy since we’ve been trapped inside, due to the smoke!
Kara was our first lunch worker of the week! We are so excited for her. Kara was always busy and did exactly what she was asked to do!!
