4th Grade Track Meet

Submitted by lindsay.robison on

We had fun at the track meet today!  The forecast was stormy, but students were able to finish all their races before any rain hit.  Our students were good sports, ran hard and had fun!  Way to represent, 4th grade ... we are proud of you for working hard!

This week’s Book Spotlight Cafe mystery guests were our very own Miss Mellor and Mrs. Taylor! They talked about their favorite books and they are now available in the Spanish Oaks library to be checked out! We are lucky to have such amazing teachers at our school! Thanks Miss Mellor and Mrs. Taylor for helping get students excited for summer reading! We only have one more week left of our Book Spotlight Cafe! Come next Thursday morning to see who our mystery guests will be!

Sink or Float?

Submitted by lindsay.robison on

Mrs. Liddle’s 1st-grade class got to experiment with sink and float. Students would predict if an object would sink or float, test it, and then write down what it actually did.

Springville Art Museum "Art Talks"

Submitted by lindsay.robison on

Kindergarten students had a visit from the Springville Art Museum today.  We learned about many different forms of art and got to see some beautiful prints.  We then got a chance to explore and create our own mini abstract pictures using different shapes to create different objects.
