Mrs. Brown had a great time celebrating Dr. Seuss day with the students as she went around and read her favorite Dr. Seuss books in the classrooms.

The PRCA Rodeo Champions Challenge is coming to the Spanish Fork Fairgrounds Arena on June 4th!  This rodeo will feature the world’s All-star Cowboys who will be in town for one night to compete on some of the world’s best animals for the winning prize.

We have amazing students at Spanish Oaks ... each doing extraordinary things!  Thank you, extraordiberries, for changing lives one act of kindness at a time!

Thank you to our wonderful PTA for an awesome Family Skate Night at Classic Fun Center.  Pictured are a few of our 5th grade students and thheir teachers enjoying the evening!

On Monday the amazing orchestra and band students from Diamond Fork Junior High paid a musical visit to our 6th grade ... They treated us to a "concert" and answered questions regarding instruments, practicing, playing in orchestra/band, etc.  Thank you, DFJHS ... what a great treat!

 A huge congratulations to 10 of our Spanish Oaks students who went on to the district level science fair at Landmark High School yesterday!  Eight (8) of these students are now going to State at BYU ... Way to represent, 5th grade!!!! 

Those moving on are:  Gracie Herbert, Naomi Good (Honorable Mention), Lucy Kilpatrick and Bailey Maughan (3rd Place), Kam Nielsen, Jeven Tomlinson, Aiden Johnson, Dylan Bloxham, and Jackie Tiapson. 

Students in Miss Mellor's classes got the chance to study and learn about living and non-living things today.   Mrs. Collier our student teacher brought some living gold fish to class today for us to compare to a non-living gold fish cracker.  We discovered that living things must have 5 important factors  ​​1. It moves   2. It has to breathe   3. It can make more of itself.   4. It needs food and water.  5. It will grow.
