Decked out in our "Secret Service" sunglasses, each class at Spanish Oaks has taken time to think of a fun way to serve another class. We have had cleaning, treats, decorating, stories and songs, etc. I love watching the students sneak down the halls, smiling and laughing as they do things to make others happy.
The students chosen for their great reading minutes this past month enjoyed frosting and decorating Christmas trees with Mrs. Brown. Thanks to Aubrey Smith of our PTA for putting the activity together!
A huge shout out to the following students from Spanish Oaks who earned an Honorable Mention and are advancing to the next stage in the Reflections contest: Baylor Ward, Taizyl Tomlinson, Carter Christiansen, Katie Christiansen, Kenzie Baird and Ali Christiansen. Good luck, students!
Miss Bates is a new 2nd grade teacher here at Spanish Oaks. She was born and raised in Florida, Lake Butler, then moved to Utah. Her favorite part of teaching is getting to know her students and their fun personalities. She went to BYU, and this is her first year teaching. She loves listening to music, her favorite musician is Ben Rector.

Even with the excitement of Christmas coming, we still have super students who choose to make wise choices and be kind to others. Thanks to this great bunch!
Here at Spanish Oaks we enjoyed a great Chrisstmas concert put on by our very own choir and orchestra. They really helped us get in the holiday spirit! Nicely done, students!
