Bell Ringers at Spanish Oaks
Congrats, students, on reaching your goal and getting to ring the bell!
Disneyworld Responds to First Grade Letters
Ms. Weeter's class wrote a letter to Minnie and Mickey Mouse at Disneyworld and just got a special surprise. They received a letter from Mickey and each of them got a Disneyworld postcard to take home. They were so excited to hear back from Mickey and all his friends!
Stuffed Animal Drive a Huge Success
Our goal for the Stuffed Animals Drive during our Kindness Week was 150 donated stuffed animals. We collected 285!! We are so excited about this and that we will be helping children in need through the ambulance crew. Thanks to our student council for their help all week long in collecting and counting the stuffed animals, and thanks to all that helped us reach and exceed our goal!
Bell Ringers at Spanish Oaks
Congratulations to our bell ringers for accomplishing their learning goals!
I Love My School Because
As part of our Kindness Week, each student wrote on a sticky note what they love about our school. Here are a few reasons.
Kindness Week Door Decorations
Each class was challenged to decorate their door around the theme "Choose Kindness". We had some great ideas! Thanks to all the teachers that took part in the activity. Here are a few of the decorated doors.
Students Learning to Direct Robots
One of our fourth grade classes, Mr. Grosdidier's class, is shown here learning to code so they can direct their robots to move in a designated pattern. They can also have the robot spin, talk, and go slow or fast, among other options. They are working in small groups, and must decide what they want their robot to do. It has been a great experience for the students.
