Teresa was born and raised in Southern Alberta Canada. She moved to Utah 23 years ago as a high school graduate with her family and attended Ricks College and Utah State. She moved to Roosevelt for a teaching job at the junior high in 1998 and was surprised to meet her husband, Duane because she was out in the sticks and there's no way you're going to find a husband in the sticks! They were married the summer of 1999 after her first year of teaching. In 2001 they moved to Springville. She taught at Payson Jr.
Our librarian, Mrs. Downey, loves to decorate our library with student work! This month we have minions dressed like the students' favorite book characters. We have Calvin and Hobbs, the Lorax and other Dr. Seuss characters ... Harry Potter, and Star Wars characters, just to name a few. It is so much fun to visit our library each month and see what new "book art" awaits us. Thank you, Mrs. Downey!
Thanks, students for being such great "Extraordiberries!" You are awesome!

Our first grade students here at Spanish Oaks welcomed their grandparents for a performance to tell them how much they love them. The students did an excellent job and it turned out to be a great day! Thank you, first grade teachers, for such an amazing experience for all.
