We are so proud of Steffani Waggoner, Mindy Johnson and Chrissie Robinson for the amazing support they give to our school. Steffani won the Outstanding Support Staff award, Mindy the Outstanding PTA Member award, and Chrissie the Outstanding Teacher award. These are Region 10 PTA awards, so we are very excited to have won 3 of the 4 awards. We have great people here at Spanish Oaks!
It was a cold one, but they were troupers and did a great job!
Chrissie Robinson, second grade teacher here at Spanish Oaks, was awarded the PTA Outstanding Educator Award for this past school year. She is a great teacher, and this is well deserved. Congratulations, Mrs. Robinson!
Did the eggs survive? Kindergarten students participated in our annual egg drop today. Lots of creative ways to protect an egg from cracking when dropped from the roof of the school.
We love having rock students each week to add to our container. It is getting full :)
These students participated in our keyboarding competition. Each of them did a great job! The winners of cash awards and/or the Golden Keyboard were Tilly Jackson-8th place, Janelly Lamas-5th place and Taizyl Tomlinson-7th place. Overall winners were Taizly and Janelly. Congratulations, students!
We had a great group of students meet their goals and ring the bell this week! We are so proud of our students!
Mrs Gunderson's class won Miss Spanish Fork's "Dare to Love" challenge. She treated the class to a pizza party today. She was impressed that they could do the Pledge of Allegiance in sign language and showed them some new things to sign as well. She reminded them all to smile, share and to look out for others. We had a great time and wish her the best of luck at Miss Utah!
Our first graders presented their program today for our school. They did an amazing job! It reminded us to like who we are, and to be kind, brave, connected and understanding. We learned we can all make a difference in the world. It shared such a good message!
