Danny Chavez, Cesia Swain and Deacon Hansbrow were our Spanish Oaks candidates at the Science Fair at BYU. They did a great job and had a super day! Thank you, Miss Hughes, for your help this year with our students.
A big HOORAY goes out to the students in our fifth and sixth grade classes for their participation and graduation from DARE. We are so proud of the decisions that they are making to feel good about themselves and live a healthy lifestyle. A special thanks to Officer Hooley for his time spent in their behalf!
Our student-body was entertained by our Dance EXTRA club, Mr. Crockett's class, and a group of cloggers in an assembly this past week. This was the culminating activity to several months worth of fun, hard work and tired legs. A special "thank you" to Mr. Crockett and all his dancers!

Mrs. Rosenvall's 4th grade class learned all about pronouns in a very unique way ... They learned about pronouns the fun way by using the theme song to Spongebob Squarepants! Pronouns replace nouns!
What an amazing group of students ... Thank you for filling buckets this week at Spanish Oaks!
Katie Drollinger loves Spanish Oaks so much that she holds two positions in our school. Not only is she one of our wonderful, special education technicians, but Katie also is a hospitality chair on the PTA board. This is Katie’s first year being on the PTA board and her first year being a technician at Spanish Oaks. She has excelled about both!
Our sixth grade students enjoyed a special visit from the DFJHS orchestra and band at our school this morning. They played some fun songs and then allowed the students to "try out" their instruments. Orchestra and/or band are great choices for junior high! A special "thank you" to Mr. Daniel Bigler and Mrs. Sherrie Dunford for providing this wonderful opportunity for our students.
You are invited to a special Hope Squad event held on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at 7:00pm. They are hosting a district-wide walk that promotes mental health and the prevention of suicide in our communities. Everyone is welcome to attend! Their goal is to see Nebo employees, students, and residents of all cities within our district at this "March for Hope." The walk will begin at Spanish Fork High School and walk down Main Street.
