We are excited to offer Science EXTRA this year at Spanish Oaks for the younger grades! Miss McKendrick will be teaching this class for students in grade(s) 1-3. The class will focus on the Scientific Method, where we will make hypotheses and perform tests and experiments to find answers. Some of the experiments we will do will include: reactions with Alka-Seltzer, baking soda, lemon juice, etc.

A big "thank you" to all that participated in our Box Tops Race last October. Our next Box Tops Race starts at the beginning of February.
Box Tops are due by Friday, February 17, 2017. Students and families, it is time to please start clipping Box Tops! Every class has a container in their room where you can turn in your Box Tops.
Today Mrs. Dimmick's class learned about opinion writing. The students shared their opinion about why they should get an Oreo after PE by using the Oreo steps of opinion writing.
