Congratulations to our 6th grade orchestra students for contributing to a wonderful 'monster' concert last night at SHHS. From conductor, Russell Hansen, "I noticed that they were all models of respect and decorum, all the while still enjoying themselves ... I hope that you had an enjoyable experience watching them ... It was a pleasure to perform with them last evening." Well done, students!
Today we learned about Newton's third law of motion by studying mini rockets. It turned out to be a fun as well as educational activity.

Hello, Spanish Oaks Families. It is spring time, which means it is time for our annual PTA Fundraiser Carnival and Silent Auction! We have lots of fun planned for you. Watch for a pre-sale flyer to be sent home with your child the last week of April. Buy early and save on food, wristbands and tickets!
Fun was had by all as we both watched and participated in dancing with our Dance EXTRA Club. The students shared dances from around the world taught by Mr. Crockett. They did an excellent job! Thanks to each of the students and to Mr. Crockett.
The first grade recently went on a fieldtrip to the Museum of Natural Curiosity and then to Cabelas. We loved learning about all types of animals around the world. We then tried out hunting and feeding fish at Cabelas. We let the scientist come out of us as we explored in the Museum of Natural Curiosity.
We held a final assembly to present the winning students with tickets to the Champions Challenge Rodeo, and certificates for boots to two lucky winners!
