The Spanish Fork/Salem area Chamber of Commerce is very excited about the Play Unplugged program they are continuing this summer! During the last week of school, we will send home lanyards and booklets for all students. Play Unplugged helps kids PLAY! It does so by encouraging active lifestyles and promoting healthy activities. What makes this program so effective? Simply put, it gives bored kids and busy parents something to do all summer long! We can't wait to get started again this summer!
We were lucky to have the Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company come perform at Spanish Oaks this morning. The students were very engaged and had a wonderful time dancing and "supporting" the company dancers. Thanks for a great time!
Even though we had to move the Kindergarten Egg Drop inside due to weather, it was a success! The kids had a blast watching Mr. Billie drop their eggs from his ladder.
Our Extraordiberries for this past week have done a great job of helping out and serving those around them. Thank you, students!
Our fifth grade did a fabulous job on their program they presented today. It was both entertaining and educational as the audience voted on the correct choices to questions that the students have learned about in class. A big thanks to the teachers for all their time and effort on behalf of their students!
