What do Fossils Tell Us?

We know a lot about animals today because we can observe and analyze them in their habitats. What about the organisms that are now extinct? Do we know what they were like? We can tell a lot about a creature by the fossils that they left behind. These 4th graders can tell you what to look for in a fossil to learn about creatures long ago!

Submitted by kali.brown on
For our 1-29-18 reading assembly, we are going to see just how well Mrs. Hill and Mrs. Brown know their favorite books!  Or ... do our students know the book(s) better?
  • Kindergarten through 2nd grade(s) are going to go up against Mrs. Hill
  • 3rd through 6th grade(s) are going up against Mrs. Brown
Mrs. Hill has picked the book They All Saw A Cat by Brendan Wenzel, and Mrs. Brown had chosen Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone.   Happy reading ...
