Spanish Oaks Teacher Spotlight ... Jessica Young

Jessica Young in coming to us from the state of Washington, where she grew up.  She did her internship in the second grade at Canyon School.  She graduated from BYU.  She loves to go running and play tennis.  Some of her favorite books are the “If You Give a Mouse a Cookie” books by Laura Numeroff.  She is so excited for an awesome school year here at Spanish Oaks.  She has joined our amazing second grade and her students love her already!  Welcome, Jessica!

We are so excited to welcome many new faces to our Spanish Oaks family this year:  Chrissie Robinson (Kindergarten), Megann McKendrick (1st), Jessica Young (2nd), Andrew Lovell (4th), Jess Babcock (5th), Amy Lewis (6th), Elizabeth Hyatt (Speech), Teresa Winkler (Counselor), and Dustin Anderson (Adult Sweeper).  We are so excited to learn alongside each of you this year! 

Students Invited to Tabitha's Annual Backpack Give Away

"...This is a way to help our students that are in need.  No documentation is needed, however backpacks and supplies will only be given out to children of school age.  We will not give a supplies to any adult for any reason.  The children must be present.  First come, first serve ... Last year we had 650 new backpacks with school supplies ..."  Please note, Spanish Oaks Elementary has additional backpacks available for students in need.
