Spanish Oaks is Prepared!
Our students are prepared! We got a few pictures of our students under their desks, learning how to respond to a possible earthquake.

Mrs. Fagergren's 4th grade class got to celebrate receiving the most "go getters" for the month of March. They enjoyed playing games with Mrs. Brown. They played chess, checkers, Connect 4, Uno and Jenga. Congratulations, 4th graders!
What a great big group of awesome students! Thanks for working hard, showing respect and being kind here at Spanish Oaks
Congratulations, Spanish Oaks Elementary School 4th and 5th grade students! The following hardworking "typers" were selected to compete in the Nebo School District Keyboarding Championship at Spanish Fork High School on April 17, 2019 for 4th and 5th grade students. "Their selection indicates that they have developed remarkable keyboarding skill that will continue to grow as they keyboard correctly." We are so proud of you!
In first grade we learn about life cycles. Our favorite to learn about is chicks because we get to hatch them in our classroom, take care of them, and play with them! The students in Mrs. Liddle’s 1st grade class had too much fun playing with the chicks!
We are halfway through our Book Spotlight Cafe at Spanish Oaks! Today’s mystery guests were Superintendent Nielsen and our school secretaries Mrs. Carter and Mrs. Johnson! We were so lucky to hear from them about their favorite books! Come next Thursday at 8:20am to find out who our next mystery guests will be! You won’t want to miss out on all the fun we’ve been having!
Alli Christiansen in 5th grade and her brother Tanner in 4th grade were in the top 15 for each grade. Their mother Ashley said, “I wanted to let you know what an incredible teacher Mrs. Tuttle is in keyboarding. My kids have absolutely loved having her as a teacher for keyboarding. I have never seen Tanner to excited about a subject at school."
4th graders had fun exploring and learning about ancient lands, animals, and cultures on our trip to the NHMU. Parents helped guide them through the museum, participating in different puzzles and activities.
Six of our very own Spanish Oaks 6th graders were celebrated and recognized by the Kiwanis Club for being TERRIFIC kids.
