Students in Mrs. Liddle’s 1st-grade class made 2D and 3D shapes out of marshmallows and toothpicks. After making their shapes, they drew them on a worksheet and wrote how sides and vertices.
Students in Mrs. Fagergren’s class learned about the myth of the Utah Lake Monster and drew their own renditions based on differing accounts in an old news article. Which monster do you think belongs in Utah Lake?
Kindergarten Registration is Moving to Summer
Kindergarten registration, traditionally held in March, will be moved to the summer and combined with grades 1st -12th. More detailed information regarding summer registration for K-6th will be sent out to you before the end of the school year.
Parents can prepare now for registering their kindergarten children by making sure they have a birth certificate and that their child is current on the following immunizations: DTap, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Polio, Varicella and MMR by the end of July.
National School Breakfast Week coming March 4th through 8th!
We are so excited to participate in National School Breakfast Week on March 4th – March 8th! Parents, if you are receiving free and reduced lunch, you ALSO get free and reduced breakfast! When you use these services, it benefits our school.
Fourth graders wrote an autobiography and then created a self-portrait using the folk art style of Heather Galler. She uses realistic contour lines with warm and cool colors/patterns to create each unique piece of art. Come check out our creations in the hallway and see if you can recognize a 4th-grade friend!
Our Go Getters for this week have done a great job of showing respect, working hard, and being kind.

The Fourth Graders in Mr. Rigby’s class memorized Valentines Day poems and performed for their buddy readers and the office secretaries. It was so much fun!
