Closing Assembly at Spanish Oaks

Spanish Oaks finished up a great year with our closing assembly yesterday.  It was a lot of fun, and we had a number of students presented with different awards ...

Our Kiwanis TERRIFIC Kids, presented by Clyde Nielsen, were:  Trey Leber, Eli Asay, Jaylee Stumpe, Brock Arndt, Jordan Smith, and Chloe Massimini. 

Closing Assembly Masked Singer Fun

For our closing assembly the students at Spanish Oaks Elementary were treated to an awesome surprise ... a Masked Singer Assembly!!  Everyone from Luigi to Sponge Bob ... from Black Panther to Woody showed up to entertain!  The students had a blast and everyone was SO surprised by our masked guests!  Can YOU guess who they are BEFORE you check out the final link???

Actually, I Can!

We have been working in art to overcome that voice in our head that whispers doubt when we try a new thing.  These wings represent our efforts to reprogram our thinking.  So next time you think, "I can't draw, or sing, or paint, or whatever, stop that voice and say, "Actually, I Can."

Teacher Spotlight Mrs. Robinson, Second Grade

I grew up in Spanish Fork.  I have been married for 12 years and have two kids, Mason 8 and Avery 5.  I have worked at Spanish Oaks for 11 years.  Seven years in the preschool, 3 years in Kindergarten and 1 year in 2nd grade.  I love to run and be active.  I have run 3 half marathons and hope to run a full marathon someday.  I love watching movies, spending time with my family, shopping, reading, hanging out with my mom and sisters, camping and if I can, relaxing.  My favorite types of food are Italian and Mexican.  Wild Cherry Pepsi is my choic
