Second Grade Invention Convention at Spanish Oaks
What great inventors we have in second grade! Our school enjoyed walking through and learning about all the cool things they created. Maybe we will see some of their ideas in the stores some day.

Our kindergarten students are all graduated! They presented a fantastic program to their parents as part of their celebration, showing off all the great things they have learned this year. Congratulations!
Our final bucket fillers for the year! Our bucket is filled up, with every student having signed their name, and having been a bucket filler throughout the school year! Nice job, Spanish Oaks students! Have YOU filled someone's bucket today?
The third grade students did an excellent job of presenting one of their favorite books they read this year to their peers and parents. It turned out to be a huge success!
According to Will Young in Mrs. Olsen's third grade class, here is what teachers do during the summer:
What Teachers Do In Summer?
They jump off of buildings and go dumpster diving.
They go to a mountain and always are climbing.
They skydive from air planes and have lots of fun.
If I could do it, I'd do it a ton.
What do teachers do whent the school year is over?
I wish they could tell me, just mail it on over!
Thanks, Will, for the great ideas for this summer!
We had some pretty shady looking characters show up today, as the fourth grade students dressed up like a famous people from Utah. We had ... athletes, singers, religious leaders and inventors, among other things. The students did an excellent job!
Rain or shine ... a great time was had by all at the 6th grade track meet today. Thank you to all who participated.
The Spanish Fork/Salem area Chamber of Commerce is very excited about the Play Unplugged program they are continuing this summer! During the last week of school, we will send home lanyards and booklets for all students. Play Unplugged helps kids PLAY! It does so by encouraging active lifestyles and promoting healthy activities. What makes this program so effective? Simply put, it gives bored kids and busy parents something to do all summer long! We can't wait to get started again this summer!
Miss Hughes' class demonstrated what they learned about the Civil War through human pictures.
