Pumpkin Art in 3rd Grade

Submitted by sherri.peterson on

We love art in third grade ! Mrs. Dimmick taught the entire third grade a fun Halloween art lesson. Each student drew their own pumpkins and then chalked them. They learned how to blend colors together and their pumpkins look amazing!

Sixth Grade Field Trip a Huge Success

Submitted by sherri.peterson on
Our sixth graders had a blast on their field trip.  They learned about the different Utah County Enforcement Divisions.  They were taught about the Bomb Squad, Search and Rescue, Fire, Swat and K-9 divisions.  Before heading back to school, they enjoyed a fun picnic at North Park.   We are grateful for all those who work for the county that took time out of their day to teach them so much!

Edible Shape Houses in Kindergarten

Submitted by sherri.peterson on
Kindergarten students have been learning 2-D shapes in Math.  For our math lesson today we identified our 2-D shapes squares, rectangles, circles, and triangles.  Next we used those shapes to build a house.  Then the very best part of our lesson....we got to eat our 2-D shape houses.    Yummy
